Ueno tenjin（shrine）
This shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, a prominent scholar of the late 9th century to the early 10th century. Therefore, it is officially called Sugawara Shrine and is known as a
shrine of wisdom.
学業の神様の菅原神社です。地元の人からは、親しみをこめて「お天神さん」と呼ばれています。
Tenjin festival
The Ueno Tenjin festival, which has a history dating back 400 years, is held annually on October, featuring gorgeous floats and a demon parade.
400年前の歴史をを持つ上野天神祭りは、毎年10月に開催されます。
Danjiri museum
The features of the festival, floats(Danjiri) and a demon parade, are on display in this museum. There is also a video on three wide screens for the visitors to learn about the festival, the
culture and the landscape of Iga-Ueno.
博物館には「だんじり（山鉾）」と鬼行列が展示され、伊賀上野の「祭り」「文化」「風景」をて感じることができるワイドビュー画面があります。
